Tech Specifications for the ASYLUM Nightclub

General Info:

The live music venue and nightclub on the first floor has a 465 capacity room limit (approximately) and has been a host to many national, regional and local rock, reggae and hip-hop bands. Our downstairs dance club, with a capacity of 115, hosts many different theme parties including Goth, retro night and local dance nights.

Tech Summary:

The upstairs is equipped with a VENUE SC48 digital mixing console for FOH and a Yamaha m3000 onstage for monitors. The lighting controls are run from the FOH position. The mains are in stereo and consist of 4 high-packs flown from the ceiling, and 8 subs under the stage. There is also a powered EV center fill and two JBL’s flown in the back of the room as rear fills, also in stereo. There are 8 available monitor mixes with 6 wedges and 1 drum fill. We have an assortment of dynamic Shure, Sennheiser and Audix mics and also have 4 active di’s and 3 passive di’s with more available if necessary by advance. The stage is 2 ft. high with an extra foot barricade built in along the front edge and is 25′ wide x 22′ deep and houses monitor world, a 21′ high, 8″ x 8″ drum riser, and all of the FOH and monitor amps. Load-in is either street level or behind the stage up a 4 foot wide staircase. The club provides one knowledgeable house sound engineer who also acts as stage manager as well as one knowledgeable monitor engineer.

2 feet high, 25 feet wide, 22 feet deep, ceiling clearance from stage is 10 feet. Monitor world is located on USL corner of stage.
